Blogging
What is Blogging and Why Should You be Doing It?
A blog (from the term ‘web log’) is a platform for individuals, businesses or groups to share updates with their friends, customers, and the online world in general. We can understand why some businesses don’t see the point in blogging on a regular basis – after all, unless you have some very big news that all of your customers will want to know, what would you put up there and who would read it?
Blogging has taken on more importance in recent times as it is an easy way to get noticed by the big search engines. If you’re updating your site regularly, posting relevant and high-quality content, your site will be given beneficial treatment by the engines.
An Old-Fashioned Reason to Blog
Even if you can do without the added attention from search engines and the accompanying boost in your rankings, blogging is a valuable tool. This is because it draws in potential customers who are interested in reading what you have to say. The trick is to say something relevant and engaging – and that’s where we come in.
Many businesses are too busy taking care of other tasks to spend time looking up industry news and writing it up in an effective way. Our job is to take this off your hands, using our research and writing skills to provide regular updates. This is usually done as part of a digital marketing package which we customise to suit your individual needs.
If you’re interested in our writing credentials, check out the examples shown here. We’re all University educated and have experience in blogging, both for work and for leisure. We promise you won’t be disappointed.
